Do not misguided by the similar names of Java and Java Script. They are completely different. Java is a real programming language created by Sun Microsystems where as Java Script was created by Netscape. Java Script is also a scripting language, a extension of HTML. Java Script is rather simple form of command. It is easier to use than Java.

Though simple but it has some drawbacks. You must check your browser’s compatibility with the java script. Different browser act differently with the java script, even older or newer versions of same browser acts differently.

So if you loaded a java script and if it not compatible with your customers browsers you might loose potential customer or visitors. So always check your browser’s compatibility before adding a java script.

Well java script looks almost same as HTML. Here java script code is embedded in HTML with a <script> tag. You can edit java script using your standard text editor.
